CHRIS COSTA started entertaining at a young age. At age three to be exact! Chris would get up on an end table and use an unplugged lamp cord as his microphone to entertain friends and family at parties. Well, as they say, things generally do not change except Chris is now entertaining hundreds of guests with real microphones and professional equipment; although he can occasionally be found jumping up on an end table for a laugh. Chris was born in Chicago, Illinois in the midst of a blizzard but his parents opted for the warmer climate of Tuscon, Arizona which is where Chris developed an interest in music and acting. Chris participated in band, choir and acting where he easily achieved straight 'A's. After High School, Chris was accepted into the AMERICAN ACADEMY OF DRAMATIC ARTS in Pasadena, CA where he originally met Mark Thomas. Mark travelled as a disc jockey on Cruise ships and returned to start Awesome Entertainment. Chris began working with Mark (who is now known as "Peace") doing "two man" shows and found that he excelled in the disc jockey profession. Chris' knowledge of music, his good nature and social skills makes him one of Awesome Entertainment's most popular independant entertainers. Chris Costa is unique to most DJ's since he enjoys mingling with guests and finding out what music they like. He wants your guests to know who he is and that he is there to help them have a good time! Chris states: "I have seen a lot of DJ's hide behind their console and nobody knows who they are, in fact, at one party I attended one guest thought the DJ was a waiter! I prefer people feel comfortable with me and are welcome to make requests. Chris Costa's package is the "awesome Entertainer".
